Additional Terms for Registered Vendors

1.  AGREEMENT

By registering as a Vendor, you are agreeing to the general Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and these additional Terms for Registered Vendors.

2.  REGISTRATION AS A VENDOR

Once you Register as a Vendor you are ready to set up your storefront profile page, and start listing your products and receiving orders. Don’t forget, your policies governing exchanges, refunds, or credits must be clearly identified on your page.

3.  SERVICES AND FEES

For the first 30 days we are waiving our monthly fee, and you only pay the commission on  any products that you sell during the introductory period. There are three Membership Plans to the services offered as follow:

Please note that commission is only payable on the cost of the products sold, not the total amount payable by the customer (which includes shipping, taxes, etc.).

If you decide to discontinue using Crafts and Collectables marketplace, please deactivate your account prior to the expiry of the 30 day introductory period, or before the expiry of any prepaid item. Otherwise, you will automatically be billed for the next 30 days upon expiry of the prior billing period. If you decide you want to return, you can reactivate your account within 120 days from the date you deactivated it. The introductory offer to waive the fee for the first 30 days only applies to new Vendors.

Inactive shops are deleted after 120 days of inactivity.

You also consent to Crafts and Collectables highlighting you as a Vendor including any product(s) you offer on the craftsandcollectables.com main page as determined by our editorial team.

4.  ACCOUNT, BILLING, AND PAYMENT INFORMATION

Your account as a registered Vendor is not transferable.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate information to Crafts and Collectables. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and PayPal account information, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

To get paid you must have a standard business PayPal account and be set up to receive payments from Crafts and Collectables.

Once you sell a product, you will receive an email. You can keep track of your sales and payments on your Seller’s dashboard. After the order is received, you are responsible for packaging and shipping the product directly to the customer. 

All sales on craftsandcollectables.com are processed securely through PayPal. Funds are deposited into the Crafts and Collectables PayPal account. Then Crafts and Collectables transfer the balances owing to Vendors on the 14th and 28th of each month. Following is the schedule for payments to Vendors:

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Sales occurring from the 1st to the 14th of each month are paid out on the 28th of the current month.

Sales occurring from the 15th to the 31st of each month are paid out on the 14th of the following month.

The balance of all sales within a given timeframe are transferred to the Vendor’s PayPal account as one PayPal payout transaction.

5.  FEE ADJUSTMENTS 

Service Options and Fees for Vendors are subject to change, at our sole discretion. We will always endeavor to provide you with reasonable notice before any price increase takes effect. If you have prepaid for a specific Service for a fixed period of time, then any price adjustment would take effect when that period of time expires. 

6.  REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES

You represent that:

(1) You are 18 years of age or older; 

(2) You are a Canadian resident, or, if operating through a business entity, that the business originated, and carries out business, within Canada;

(3) The information you have provided to Crafts and Collectables is true and complete;

(4) If the Vendor is a business entity, you personally guarantee that you have the legal authority to agree to these Terms and Conditions or any other terms or conditions referred to herein, on behalf of the business

7.  VENDOR GENERATED CONTENT

You promise that any content you generate or post on craftsandcollectables.com:

(1) is owned by you, or you have the right to post such content;

(2) will not violate any applicable laws, or the intellectual property or any such other  rights of any third-party; 

(3) will not contain libelous or otherwise unlawful, abusive or obscene material, or contain any computer virus or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of any Services or any related website. 

You are solely responsible for any content you post on craftsandcollectables.com, and you agree that if anyone brings a claim against Crafts and Collectables relating to any content that you post, then you will indemnify and hold Crafts and Collectables harmless from and against any loss or damages, including expenses of any kind, arising out of such claim.

Crafts and Collectables may, but has no obligation to, monitor, edit or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion is unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory,  obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party’s intellectual property, the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy or these Additional Terms for Registered Vendors.

8.  RIGHT TO EDIT AND USE VENDOR GENERATED CONTENT

By posting content on craftsandcollectables.com, you are granting Crafts and Collectables a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual license to use, display, edit, modify, reproduce, and prepare derivative works of any Vendor generated content. This is for the purpose of providing services to you, including promoting your business and our site. 

If you send us certain material, such as contest entries, or without request from us you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, or other materials, whether online, by email, by postal mail, or otherwise (collectively, 'comments'), you agree that we may, at any time, without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate and otherwise use in any medium any comments that you forward to us. We are and shall be under no obligation (1) to maintain any comments in confidence; (2) to pay compensation for any comments; or (3) to respond to any comments.

9.  OPTIONAL TOOLS  

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input. 

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools ”as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.

Any use by you of optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).

We may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the website (including, the release of new tools and resources). Such new features and/or services shall also be subject to these Terms of Service.

10.  TERMINATION 

These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us in accordance with the Terms of Service or these Additional Terms for Registered Vendors.

By the Vendor:

You may terminate your account as a Vendor at any time by deactivating your account in your storefront profile page. We will then be automatically notified that you no longer wish to use our Services. Please note that the small monthly fee that you have paid in advance is not refundable if you cancel before your subscription period expires. However, any funds (less our commission) that we have received from customers for transactions completed prior to terminating your account are non-refundable will be paid out to you according to Crafts and Collectables Payment Schedule. 

By Crafts and Collectables:

If in our sole judgment you fail, or we suspect that you have failed, to comply with any term or provision of the Terms of Service, the Additional Terms for Registered Vendors, we  may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination; and/or accordingly may deny you access to our Services (or any part thereof).
